Davido’s Baby Mama Drama: Families’ Peace Meeting Ends In Deadlock

Events in the ongoing child abduction allegations which led to a public war of words between singing sensation, Davido and the family of his baby mama, Sophie Momodu took another turn after the warring parties couldn’t reach a peaceful agreement.
ERAVE can authoritatively report that the peace meeting between both families which held few days ago ended in a deadlock after both families – Adeleke and Momodu – couldn’t reach a resolution. However, we can confirm that another meeting between the concerned families will hold in Lagos later today, January 7, 2016.
Speaking with ERAVE, Mr. Gbolaga Ajayi counsel to Sophie Momodu said the families couldn’t reach a resolution in the previous meeting due to certain conditions in the agreement. “The meeting was called by some elder statesmen who are interested in finding a lasting solution to the case. It is proper if we don’t do a lot of reporting on the case for now because events in the meeting can change the situation of things.”
When queried further about the details of today’s meeting, he said “the meeting holds somewhere in Lekki, Lagos by 11:00 am and everyone involved in the issue will be present. What I am concerned about is the interest of my client, Sophie and the welfare of her little baby.”
On the suit filed against Davido at NAPTIP, Mr. Ajayi said he instituted the suit to protect the interest of his client, Sophie Momodu – Davido’s baby mama. “I filed the suit at NAPTIP and all parties involved also provided their statements.”
You will recall that Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adeleke, Mr. and Mrs. Dele Momodu, Sophie Momodu and the legal counsels to both families recently visited the Lagos office of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP. The meeting we gathered provided an avenue for all parties involved to provide a written statement to NAPTIP representatives following the child abduction suit filed against Davido by Sophie Momodu’s legal counsel, S.O. Ajayi & Co.
